Traditionally we have a school picnic during the first week of the school year. It's an opportunity to welcome new learners to the school and for all learners and educators to get to know each other by enjoying a fun-filled day at a designated picnic spot.

Our annual Spring Walk has become a firm tradition. A route over the foot hills of Helderberg Mountain to the Nature Reserve makes for a challenging walk for both learners and educators alike.

Annual functions organised by the learners are, a Valentines' function and Matric farewell. Market Days, as part of the EMS learning area, are also organised by learners to raise funds for different projects.

One of the most popular annual excursions is the Photography Club Tour. Every year a group of aspiring photographers are taken on a tour to various parts of South Africa and/or Namibia. The learners, not only practice their team-working skills, but put their photography lessons into practice.

Our learners contribute toward charity projects such as PATCH, Cotlands and Sunnyside Home for the Aged.
