Outreach June 2025

What a BLESSING!

The learners of Helderberg High School had the opportunity to go to Morkel Cottage crèche on Tuesday, 24 June and make a positive impact by upgrading their play area. This outreach project definitely gave a sense of purpose and fulfilment to each of our learners knowing they made a positive difference in the lives of others.

Serving others can be a transformative experience, offering opportunities for personal growth, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges faced by others. And is a value we work to encourage in our learners.  Our outreach is also a way to express our faith and put our beliefs into action, finding a deeper connection with our Creator through service.

We focused on 4 main areas.  We painted the jungle gym, made a new sandpit, created a fairy garden and painted a hop scotch grid for the learners of the crèche.

We would like to thank TimBuild Somerset West and Somerset Sand and Stone for their generous contributions in making this project possible.

Last but not least, thank you to our wonderful parents and learners that donated food, and joined in in this project. You are truly amazing.

TO LEARN  -  TO LIVE  -  TO SERVE

HELDERBERG HIGH SCHOOL

is a small private school (approximately 190 learners) situated on a peaceful campus

on the foothills of Helderberg mountains. We pride ourselves on our small

classes (between 20 & 22 learners per class) and 2 classes per grade.

Our staff believe in a Christian-based education and endeavour to create a

caring environment in which each child is unique.

Although our campus is new, the high school was established more than

We have an excellent matric pass rate and a high standard of education.

Please peruse our website at your leisure.

We welcome the opportunity of sharing our unique style of Christian education with you and your child/ren. For any further information please feel free to contact us.
